TSMC's A14 (1.4nm-class) fabrication process has achieved close to 90% device performance and 90% 256Mb SRAM yield, significantly faster than its N2 process at a comparable development stage. This rapid advancement is attributed to TSMC's accumulated experience with 2nd Generation Gate-All-Around (GAA) nanosheet transistors, with mass production expected in H2 2028.
