Chinese telecoms giant ZTE and server firm Maginfra, along with a Kingsoft Cloud subsidiary, received US approval to purchase Nvidia's H200 Hopper chips and AMD MI300X-class accelerators. This adds them to a group of roughly 10 Chinese companies, including Alibaba and ByteDance, cleared for such purchases, despite a 25% export tariff on these chips.
