Malaysia's Selangor State is actively developing an IC design park and extending invitations to TSMC and other Taiwanese "hidden champion" enterprises to establish manufacturing operations. The state aims to become an important base for Taiwan's high-tech deployment in ASEAN, driven by global semiconductor supply chain restructuring and AI-driven chip demand.
