The new U7in-24TB instances, part of AWS's 7th generation, are powered by custom fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids) and offer 24 TiB of DDR5 memory. These instances provide up to 45% better price performance over existing U-1 instances, delivering 896 vCPUs and supporting up to 200 Gbps of network bandwidth.
AWS is expanding its high-memory compute offerings with DDR5, increasing available capacity for memory-intensive workloads like SAP HANA in Europe.
