The new R8i instances, powered by custom sixth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, deliver up to 43% better compute performance per vCPU compared to previous R6in and R6idn instances. R8in and R8idn instances offer 600 Gbps network bandwidth, the highest among enhanced networking EC2 instances, making them suitable for AI/ML caching fleets and real-time big data analytics.
