AMD formally launched its next-generation Instinct MI400 series data center GPUs and the Helios rackscale solution at its Advancing AI 2026 conference. The new lineup includes the MI455X GPU for Frontier AI and the MI430X GPU for sovereign AI and HPC. AMD confirmed it has secured gigawatt-scale orders from major technology companies, including OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Oracle.
