China's largest DRAM manufacturer, Changxin Memory, saw its initial public offering oversubscribed by approximately 570 times by institutional investors, a lower enthusiasm compared to other recent Chinese technology IPOs. The IPO is expected to raise around $8.6 billion, with the retail public offering portion oversubscribed 243.93 times.
A major Chinese DRAM manufacturer's IPO proceeds will fund domestic memory capacity expansion, intensifying competition and reducing reliance on foreign suppliers.
