Huawei is reportedly collaborating with Chinese DRAM maker Shenzhen Shengweixu Technology (SwaySure) and the Chinese government to construct a state-backed 12-inch memory fabrication plant in Shenzhen. This initiative aims to alleviate DRAM shortages and decrease China's dependence on foreign suppliers amidst ongoing US export controls.
