CoreWeave has deployed NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet SN6600-LD liquid-cooled switches, built on the Spectrum-6 ASIC, to support its NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 GPU clusters. This deployment doubles total switching performance per rack to 102.4 Tb/s, reduces rack footprint by 62.5%, and improves power efficiency by 30% compared to previous air-cooled generations. The integration enables a fully non-blocking fabric for 16,000 Vera Rubin GPUs, enhancing model FLOPS utilization and reducing latency for AI workloads.
Liquid-cooled networking is now critical for dense AI compute, enabling higher GPU utilization and significantly reducing power and space costs per exaflop.
