Nanya Technology reported a record quarterly profit, driven by a more than 60% rise in average DRAM selling prices, which boosted its gross margin to 79.5%. The Taiwanese memory chipmaker anticipates further improvements in both prices and margins during the second half of the year.
DRAM contract pricing is now firmly in recovery, with suppliers achieving significant margin expansion and expecting continued gains through H2.
